This fork will come to you with Fox's standard aftermarket tune.

We will give the fork a full inspection before dispatching. We'll make sure the correct volume of oil and grease has been used in the damper, air spring and lower legs, as well as addressing any assembly issues, like tight bushings. This is included in the price. 

We won't provide any setup support with this product, so please refer to the owner's manual for setup recommendations.

      The MY27 FOX 40 has been completely reworked from the damper, to the air spring, down to the lower leg. Every update has been driven by one goal: to create the fastest FOX 40 ever made—both on paper and on the track.

      GRAVITY GETS THE GLIDECORE TREATMENT

      The next-generation GlideCore air spring introduces both vertical and horizontal compliance, allowing the fork to better track rough terrain while reducing rider fatigue. Paired with an MCU bottom-out bumper and the updated GRIP X2 damper, the 40 delivers improved support without sacrificing the supple feel riders expect from FOX’s flagship downhill fork.

      NEW GRIP X2 DAMPER

      The biggest update is the entirely new mid valve piston and valve stack (AKA main piston assembly). We kept the same high-fidelity valve stack, but updated shape of the valves. The shape of the ports in the piston are also different. These updates build upon GRIP X2’s already award-winning suppleness while preserving support without the harshness.
