So what is a J-TECH service?

 

When you choose any J-TECH service you will get a top quality service for a sensible price.

We only use top quality oils and seals, transforming your tired suspension into suspension that works as good as, if not better than, new!

Every service is carried out by a highly experienced technician to the highest of standards. Each job is undertaken with care and precision, to give you the best possible service.

Your service can be tailored to you and your riding style, your suspension will be set up for you and you'll be provided with the recommended settings for your reference. Or you can choose to have it back with exactly the setup you had before.

Forks:

• Fork is cleaned and externally checked for damage/wear.

• Fork is tested.

• Fork is stripped, chemically cleaned and examined thoroughly for damage/wear.

• Customer informed of any extra work required before repairs or modifications carried out.

• Fork assembled with new top quality SKF seals where possible, or genuine seals, and high performance oils.

• J-TECH recommended settings, for rider weight and style, applied (when asked for, otherwise set as received).

• Fork tested.

• Fork cleaned, polished and J-TECH decal applied.

 


Shocks
:

• Shock is cleaned and externally checked for damage/wear.

• Shock is tested.

• Shock is de-pressurized and stripped, chemically cleaned and examined thoroughly for damage/wear.

• Customer informed of any extra work required before repairs or modifications carried out.

• Repairs and/or modifications carried out using the best parts available.

• Shock assembled with new seals, bushings and oils (& Nitrogen where applicable).

• J-TECH recommended settings, for rider weight and style, applied (when asked for, otherwise set as received).

• Shock dyno tested.

• Shock cleaned, polished and J-TECH decal applied.

What do I do next?

 

  • Book in using the on-line booking system here.
  • If you're delivering in person, make sure you're here on or before the morning of your booking. Otherwise...
  • Clean up your item(s) for service before packaging into a well packed box. (Dirty items will incur a surcharge for cleaning.)
  • Clearly mark your package with the reference number provided in your confirmation email and send in to arrive by the date and time of your booking. Or if you've arranged for a collection, make sure the parcel is ready for the courier to collect with someone available to sign for it.

 

What then?...

 

  • The item(s) are worked on on the day booked
  • If there are any problems, extra work needed or suggested upgrades, we'll call you to discuss, otherwise...
  • When the work's complete, we'll send you an email with your invoice for payment and your service notes/settings.
  • Once payment has been received, the item(s) is shipped out. As long as payment has been received by 3pm that day, your item(s) will be dispatched on a 24hr courier service.
  • You'll get your item(s) back ready to ride, set up with the settings listed on the 'Service Details And Settings' sheet attached to the invoice we emailed you on completion of the work.
