"I have ordered a few things from j-tech but this was the first time I have used their service and tuning...the shock was in need of a freshen up...as it turns out it was over valved and harsh on the recommended spring rate so I ran the shock with 35 lbs lighter spring on it...I got the shock back and put the j-tech recommended spring in it...it feels perfect now...it tracks the ground really well but is still playful which was more important to me to be honest...short travel trail bikes are about playful and enjoying the trail that not to say that this isn’t quick because the right tune has definitely made it quicker...can’t recommend these guys enough...will absolutely use again and recommend...."

"I saw the ohlins rxf 36 forks were reduced at Jtech so took the decision to buy them. The forks came with custom tune included which made them great value. After a mix up of my order the guys at Jtech were brilliant and sorted out the problem in great time. Once fitted the forks are massive improvement of the standard fox 34's fitted to the bike. The suggested settings were almost perfect. I did reduce the air pressure slightly but otherwise they worked brilliantly out of the box. Through out the experience the communication was excellent and service was second to none. I cant recommend these guys enough." Michael -
"I can’t recommend these guys enough...I have had a not pleasant dealing with another nameless suspension tuner who over charged me for a shock that was allegedly custom tuned for my bike however on inspection it was not even designed for my bike...and the only charged me £900 plus delivery...at least dick Turpin wore a mask...I can assure you the j-tech are a different breed...I contacted them about a coil upgrade for my Lyrik...thay were really helpful and responded very quickly to my emails...thay were able to get me what I needed very quickly and kept me informed throughout the process...as a result I will only be using j-tech from now on...I have just booked my £900 allegedly custom tuned shock in for a service...finger crossed the shock is not a complete third armpit...the 1 thing I’m certain of is j-tech will keep me right regardless....."

"First time I'd had the rear shock professionally serviced as it had lost its rebound damping. Shock was serviced and set-up by J-Tech & the bike has never ridden so well! "Repaired leaky damper seal and custom valved my Bos Devilles, and supplied a custom tuned Fox Float X shock. I'm really happy with the work and tuning James did on my Bos devilles, I wanted more support in the midstroke without sacrificing sensitivity, and he did just that! The bike now has a really efficient segment of travel to ride in, I feel he's turned a great fork into an incredible fork. I was in the market for a new rear air shock and with so many choices I gave him my criteria: supple like the Bos, but with a firm climbing setting, and versatile for my "do it all bike" he recommended the new float x and I'm impressed, there are more expensive shocks around, but he sold and tuned the one he felt most suitable for me, at a price far cheaper than nearly! all of the uk sellers. Yet again James was spot on with his recommendation; he knows his suspension, and I'll use him for all my work for as long as I'm riding!"
