Uprated IFP spring and shim kit to take your damper to the next level! 

  • We found when testing these dampers in standard spec that in high-frequency moments, there wasn't enough pressure from the IFP spring for good pressure balance. 
  • The combination of our uprated spring and shim stacks solves the issue and also makes the damper feel more "alive" due to an increased bleed.
  • The standard valving is quite heavy on low speed damping, our kit opens things up for you, so you can run the setup you like.

We offer a calculated tuning service – using endless data acquired from hours of testing and data logging, we can make calculated and informed decisions on what settings, re-valving and modifications are suitable for you. Your suspension will be thoroughly tested with our dyno facilities and tailored to you and your riding style.

To create the ultimate descent-focused damper, we sought the level of tunability seen in motocross and supercross racing suspension. Our award-winning GRIP 2 damper had a 20mm base diameter and seven valves. GRIP X2 scaled up the tunability by increasing the base diameter to 24mm with 23 valves. The result is the most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper ever created by FOX.

Riders reap the benefits of sitting higher in the travel while tyres stay glued to the ground. They can corner with increased traction, giving them the confidence to push the limits of downhill and enduro racing, all while reducing overall rider fatigue.
