We've had a great time supporting Intense Factory Racing this year and what a year they've had!
Joe Breeden took on this team at the end of last year and in no time, he had put together a team of riders, support staff and sponsors that just worked, straight off the bat. Not only that, but worked all year through, with progression being made all the time.
Here's a few stats from the season:
- National Podiums 10
- WC Final Top 10s 5
- WC Finals 12
- Red Bull Hardline 1 (1 of 2 women ever to complete finals)
Here's what the team have to say:
Joe Breeden - Rider
‘’I am super proud of the team we have established this year, and the platform that we now have to operate
from moving forward. In the new year this allows me to shift my focus more from operating duties to my
athletic duties, with the focus on becoming a consistent top 10 rider next year. I am confident that I now have
the tools and experience to go and make that a reality. Running top 5 at the last split and finishing 9th in
Semi’s at VDS this year was super encouraging.
A huge THANK YOU to all our partners, it has been such a pleasure working alongside you all so far. I'm more
excited than ever for what's to come :D Enjoy our end of season show reel.’’
Lou Ferguson - Rider
‘’What an amazing season with a great group of people. Having a team of supportive and friendly people is so
important to me. I feel I have learnt so much as a rider and enjoyed every minute of my year. From completing
Hardline before the World Cups started all the way through to qualifying for the World Champs, it has been
such an incredible experience.
I am really proud of the way I have focused on my effort this season, it has really helped keep me relaxed and
deliver solid performances.
I am already looking forward to tweaking my winter programme to work on a few bits and come out faster in
2025.’’
Ryder Lawrence - Rider
‘’The season was very fun and I had lots of learning experiences from this year.
I came into this year having no idea what to expect for results. I came into the first race very nervous and gave
it 100% effort with an 11th place. After that, I struggled a little to find the right balance of how hard to push vs
going too slow. This is a huge thing I have been learning this year.
I am stoked on some of my results and shown I can do top speeds by winning some sectors.
Overall I had some ups and downs this season but lots of learning experiences that will be helpful in the
future. I want to thank my team for all of the support this year and could not ask for anything better.’’
Oscar Griffiths - Rider ‘’2024 has been insane! I’ve had one of the funnest years of my life; travelling and racing my bike around the world with the IFR crew. I’ve also probably had one of the toughest years of my life, battling with constant injuries. It’s never easy, but it sure forces some huge learnings that I'm ready to take through the off-season and into 2025! However, I always picked myself up and got back for the next race, achieving a 6th place in Les Gets, 11th place in Poland, 3rd at a European cup and a time at the US open which would have placed me 3rd in my category. These results are far from my goals and what I think I’m capable of, but I made the most of every opportunity I had. I would never have been able to do it without the help of the team and every single person/sponsor behind it. Stoked to be with this family again next year, and ready to do it better!’’
